Using TypologyOnline

Important information about the purpose, limitations, and appropriate use of the tests and content on this site.

Educational and reflective useThe tests are designed for learning, self-reflection, and general interest.
Not professional adviceResults are not medical, psychological, employment, legal, or financial advice.
Results are estimatesMood, context, response style, skipped questions, and comparison data can affect a result.

Educational use

TypologyOnline is intended for educational, reflective, and entertainment use. Test results are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, employment, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

No high-stakes decisions

Do not use these tests to make hiring, diagnosis, treatment, eligibility, financial, legal, or other high-stakes decisions about yourself or anyone else.

Accuracy and limitations

The scoring logic is designed to be data-informed and transparent, but personality tests remain estimates. Results can be affected by mood, context, skipped questions, response style, and the available comparison sample.

Personal interpretation

A result describes patterns in the answers supplied for one attempt. It should not be treated as a fixed identity, definitive judgement, or complete account of a person.

Site availability

Features, assessments, scoring models, comparison samples, and supporting content may be corrected, expanded, or changed as the project develops.

Accounts, payments and responsible use

Do not misuse the site, interfere with its security or availability, attempt fraud, abuse other people, or use an account in a way that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms. TypologyOnline may apply a proportionate payment hold, temporary suspension or permanent account restriction where reasonably necessary to protect users, payments, security, legal obligations or the service.

An open or lost payment dispute may pause premium access and new purchases while it is reviewed. A payment dispute does not automatically delete an account or create a permanent ban. Contact TypologyOnline if you believe a restriction was made in error or want the decision reviewed.

Use results as one source of reflection

Consider results alongside lived experience, trusted feedback, and relevant professional support. If you have concerns about mental health or wellbeing, seek help from an appropriately qualified professional.
